Members joined New York Times Public Square Editor, educator, and award-winning journalist, Terry Parris Jr., to discuss the fundamentals of journalism and storytelling! After learning about and analyzing the goals and techniques underlying journalism, members practiced the art of asking follow-up questions, with the “Man on the Street” interview challenge.
