“Career Prep programs like Project Tech equip our members with the tools to excel in a digital age. The best part is watching them apply these skills in real life, like building websites for friends and family, knowing that this may turn into thriving careers one day.”

Community Spotlight

“The Boys’ Club helped me get an internship with Bloomberg during my senior year, which I parlayed into a full-time employment offer”

Evan Ortega, BCNY Alumnus, Billing Analyst at Bloomberg LP

“Jisayiah was offered a spot in Project Tech [America on Tech program] and is currently participating in Project Coach, assisting 4th graders with various sports. Elyjah participated in High School Access, Project Build, Project Lifeguard, in which he received his Lifeguard certification, and he worked the summer of 2021 as a BCNY Counselor in Training. BCNY has given Elyjah and Jisayiah so many opportunities. They have grown to be responsible young men and I am so grateful for that. The lessons Coach Orlando and other staff members gave Elyjah and Jisayiah will be with them forever.”
