Career Prep at BCNY is designed to engage and excite members with unique opportunities that will support them along their professional journeys. Members develop interests and skills across diverse careers through engaging programs and special events. BCNY’s Teen Training programs allow members to become workforce ready while earning a stipend.

“Jisayiah was offered a spot in Project Tech [America on Tech program] and is currently participating in Project Coach, assisting 4th graders with various sports. Elyjah participated in High School Access, Project Build, Project Lifeguard, in which he received his Lifeguard certification, and he worked the summer of 2021 as a BCNY Counselor in Training. BCNY has given Elyjah and Jisayiah so many opportunities. They have grown to be responsible young men and I am so grateful for that. The lessons Coach Orlando and other staff members gave Elyjah and Jisayiah will be with them forever.”
