E. Roland Harriman, the son of our founder, carried his father’s legacy forward with extraordinary dedication. For 57 years, he served as Trustee, President, and later Chairman of the Board. In 1974, he launched BCNY’s planned giving program, which we proudly honor today as the Roland Harriman Society.
