STEP 1

He plays all the sports a little, but none competitively, and loves Culinary Kings.

Jayden expands his sense of interests, strengths, and weaknesses. Through Culinary Kings, his cooking skills improve!
STEP 2

At school, Jayden gets mixed grades: excellent in some subjects, poor in others.

At BCNY, the Education Department works with Jayden, making sure his grade level progression is on-time, and helping to increase his academic self-confidence.
STEP 3

Jayden serves on the Youth Council. He has formed a strong bond with his group leader, whom he sees as a mentor. They often continue conversations begun in Young Men’s Group in the Game Room.

Through Youth Council and Young Men’s Group, Jayden develops a growing sense of responsibility to communities beyond himself and his family. He also gains awareness of and critical consciousness around social and political issues.
