After school programs designed for boys, especially those radiant souls of color, aren’t merely extracurricular activities. They are sanctuaries. Places where young souls can embark on intimate journeys, piercing the veil of societal constructs such as gender norms, and grappling with the profound weight of boyhood and coming manhood.
