Interested in seeing old photos and documents from BCNY’s history?  Working on a research project about youth development in New York City? BCNY’s historical records now reside at the  Patricia D. Klingenstein Library at the New-York Historical Society and are open for use by the public (kids 18 and younger must be accompanied by an adult).

IF you’re interested in viewing, consulting, or researching the records should begin by reviewing the online Guide to The Boys’ Club of New York Records to identify material of interest. Questions regarding this guide, or the collection generally, may be directed to the Manuscript Department’s reference staff  at manuscripts@nyhistory.org.

To access the material at the Historical Society, prospective visitors must register via their online request system. This may be done in advance of a visit, or in person,; please note that you must also present valid, government-issued photo identification before consulting items from the collection.
