At the Boys’ Club, our staff is held to the highest standard: the judgement of our members.
Our staff must exist as more than just teachers. They’re role models who must constantly set an example for our members to help them grow into the best versions of themselves as teens and young men.
Today we’re recognizing the hard work and efforts of our Frontline Staff by celebrating Augusto Tolentino, an Explorer Group Leader at Abbe Clubhouse who has shown excellent leadership, composure, and consistently maintained a positive attitude while working with our youngest age group.
“Augusto is a living reflection of the values we instill in our members to help prepare them to be successful in the world,” said Youth Director Tanya Lavache. “He’s our 4Cs: confident, character-rich, connected, and competent. There hasn’t been a day where Augusto entered Abbe without a smile on his face and a happy greeting to share.”
Augusto’s enthusiasm and competitive drive motivates our members to be their best. “Augusto has been able to gain the trust and admiration of not only the 3rd graders he works with but the entire Explorer department by being hands on in all programs and showing our members that they can rely on him.”
We are so proud to celebrate Augusto and his dedication to the members he works with. Today he is a role model for not only the members he works with but also the rest of the Boys’ Club staff.
