Congratulations to BCNY Alumnus Joseph Borelli for being selected as Nassau County’s Senior Man of the Year!

As a young boy growing up in East Harlem, Joe and his family didn’t have a lot of choices. Luckily, Joe found the Boys’ Club, where he thrived. According to Joe, BCNY left an indelible impression on him, and encouraged a lifetime of giving back to the community that gave so much to him.

As an adult, Joe became an active BCNY alumnus. The Alumni Association, founded by Joe’s uncle Anthony Sisti, has acquired necessary sports equipment for BCNY boys, and sponsored countless special field trips and parties. Joe has held almost every position in the Alumni Association, from treasurer, to Vice President, to President, from 2005 – 2007. He remains on the Association’s executive committee today.
